“NDIFARE” “HAPPY” is a very danceable yet educational joint…The track touches on the importance of giving thanks for the gift of life daily. It also addresses the vitality of striking a balance between working hard and partying hard. The real yutts and people alike will relate.The track was featured in H-Metro, under the headline “VicVado pens motivational song”, an article by Nyasha Kada. Sugardripp T-Mellow whose real name is Tafadzwa Saungweme is a versatile, well rounded artist based in South Africa. His cut-edge lyricism, cadence and coherence, makes him stand ‘head-above-shoulders’ on almost any good sounding instrumental.
He started off his music journey in 2017, and so far he has one mixtape under his belt, named “Hello Africa”. He featured a good friend of his, “Sean Bulger”, on the joint mixatpe. Tracks within Hello Africa include “Up Like The Rain” & “10 Times Sicker”, with “A Dey Go Gaga”, an Afro-Pop vibe, which resonated well with many. Ndifare came about when Sugardripp, returned home to Zimbabwe, from South Africa. He contacted his long time high school friend by the moniker “Vic Vado”. Vic Vado was fresh off from a New Year’s Eve show in Checheche, where he rocked the crowd for hours. Without hesitancy, Vic Vado heeded to the call, whose real name is Victor Munhupedzi.Vic Vado contacted the massively talented producer from Mbare, Rusike, by the moniker of “Gzzy” of Bad Company Records. Then second of January at night time, around 10pm, commenced the recording session of the track “Ndifare”. Inspiration was high off through the roof, since the energy within the room was pure & clean.The 2 artist, Sugardripp and Vic Vado wrapped up the recording session in under four hours.
Upon listening to the song, a couple of times, Sugardripp and Vic Vado decided to contact the guitarist to add that African vibe/feel to the track. Magic, the way it sounded afterwards. The journey to shooting the video proved not to be a stroll in the park, as many ends had to be made to meet. From the logistical sense, down to the funding of the video. However, when ‘Jesus says Yes!Nobody can say No!. The video shoot was successful, with much help from all the people who participated and supported.Video was shot and edited by one genius , “Panda Glitz”.
The response from within the streets has been raucous and enormous. Sugardripp T-Mellow plans to release a mixtape called “7Th AVENUE” in the very near future. He has released Track 05 of the upcoming mixtape, the track is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, ReverbNation and Audiomack.
